Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

Some pages may be affected by this: We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for any page that uses third-party widgets or plugins.
Accessibility on tours
We want as many people as possible to enjoy our tours. Please note that Portugal is renowned for its cobbled streets, and in some areas these can be uneven and on steep hills. This can make certain routes challenging for guests with limited mobility, wheelchair users or anyone who finds walking on uneven ground difficult.
Tell us before you book
If you have a disability, reduced mobility or any access requirements, please notify us before booking so we can confirm what’s possible and plan the best tour for you.
To help us tailor the experience, it’s useful to know:
-
Whether you use a wheelchair, mobility scooter, walking frame or stick
-
Whether you can manage steps, slopes and uneven surfaces
-
How long you’re comfortable walking for (and whether you need frequent breaks)
-
Any hearing, vision or sensory requirements
-
Whether you’re travelling with a carer or an assistance dog
What we can do
Depending on your needs and the tour type, we may be able to:
-
Suggest a route with fewer steep hills and less uneven terrain
-
Build in more rest stops and access to toilets
-
Focus on scenic viewpoints that require minimal walking
-
Recommend suitable transport options and pickup points
Important note about vehicles
At this time, we do not have a dedicated accessible vehicle (for example, a van with a wheelchair lift/hoist). This may limit what we can offer for some mobility needs, but we’ll always be transparent and help you choose the best option.
Requests, issues and suggestions
We’re always working to improve accessibility. If you have suggestions or feedback about our website or tours, please get in touch through the organization's accessibility coordinator:
