Miguel was fantastic! We were fortunate to schedule a half-day tour of Porto with him. Six of us were vacationing from the U.S. We arrived late at the hotel where he was meeting us. He was still there, waiting for us with a smile on his face. When our fantastic tour was ending, we arranged to meet Miguel three days later in Lisbon. He was our guide for the next two days, visiting Lisbon, Estoril, Cascais, Sintra, and then on the second day, exploring our way to Evora. He was so knowledgeable and obliging at all times. We all give him a 5 star rating, and if we are ever in Spain or Portugal, we will use his services again. Miguel, all our best to you and your family. Fondly. Wow! What an amazing afternoon. Miguel picked us up from our ship in Vigo. He spoke with us about Vigo and its history while sharing panoramic views of the city. We made our way to Santiago de Compostela where Miguel took us to an incredible tapas bar. After lunch we toured the cathedral and explored the town. We highly recommend the afternoon as well as Miguel...

Miguel is an outstanding guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and provided us with so much information to enhance the sightseeing. He took us to beautiful areas so that we could appreciate the incredible vistas. He has a wonderful personality and we will never forget the luncheon and wine tasting high up in the Douro Valley. We will defintely recommend him to anyone planning this trip.

Miguel was a WONDERFUL guide. He provided us every possible comfort: bottled water, mints, candies & sun screens for our windows in the van. He could not do enough! He was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and obviously had great passion & pride in the Douro Valley and his native Portugal. During our wine tour the vineyard guide could not answer a couple of questions, but Miguel found out the answers for us. You could not go wrong having Miguel be your guide! We HIGHLY recommend him.

Hi Miguel, the Brits are back in Britain (and the rain!) after an enjoyable cruise.
One of the highlights was undoubtedly our visit to Oporto, which proved to be a lovely and fascinating city.

Miguel was fantastic - excellent English, very knowledgable, interesting, and very helpful and willing to do whatever it takes to make the trip one that you will always remember. Oporto is a super place to visit - lots to see and visit and it was wonderful to end our tour with a visit to Taylor's Port for a tasting and good view over the river and city.
We are returning in 3 months and intend to use Miguel again for a different tour.

We are back home in the UK after our Mediterranean cruise, with wonderful memories of the day we spent touring round Oporto with you. Your pleasant company and informative commentary on our walkabout were most enjoyable, and your polite, friendly attention was much appreciated. We haven't, as yet, opened our special bottle of Port but when we do we shall think of you. [We also thought of you that evening when we learned that Portugal had won the football!]

My husband and I had an awesome tour of Oporto with Miguel. He was extremely informative and very passionate about his city. He was very prompt in replying to emails and suggesting sights to see and things to do. His English was impeccable!

This tour was our second with Miguel. This time we had the honor of having his beautiful wife Jennifer with us. We had no idea what to expect in the Douro Valley. It is incredible!! It has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. In addition to the beauty of the valley itself, the tour offers private visits to local wineries and even a gourmet lunch at one them.
We are already planning a return visit!!

Miguel gave us a wonderful tour of the Douro Valley, basing it on his very thorough knowledge of the region, but adjusting to our individual interests. Excellent language skills. Very personable, willing to share discussions about his personal life as a Portuguese citizen. Very caring about the comfort and enjoyment of his passengers. No hard sell on any side trips. We would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a private tour in Portugal.

Miguel showed us a wonderful time in Vigo. We couldn't start the tour until 12:30p.m. and he really optimized the time we had, showing us a charming fishing village, as well as other sights to fully appreciate the area, including a wine tasting at a winery. A truly lovely day, and he was very knowledgeable providing us with very interesting facts about the history of the area. We would definitely recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Vigo.

Miguel was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour couldn't have been more pleasant. There was an issue with his vehicle which he quickly resolved, hiring a taxi to continue our tour. He spent considerably longer than our allotted time, we never felt the slightest pressure to hurry. He helped us with arrangements for our remaining time in Porto which we would not have been able to do on our own. We highly recommend Miguel and I regret not having used his service before our last day.

We are a couple from India and booked Miguel for a 5-day tour. He's a great guy! Fantastic sense of humour. We kept laughing for all five days. Very passionate about Porto and his football team. His level of service was way above 5 stars. Planned each day well, and made sure we experienced what we really wanted. Several times he went out of the way to make our trip comfortable. Met his beautiful wife, Jennifer, who's also his partner. I can't thank them enough for making out trip to Portugal so special!

I met Miguel when my wife and I did a 10 day tour of Portugal. We joined one of the wine tours in Porto where Miguel approached us and offered to tour us around Northern Portugal, Lisbon and surrounding areas. Right off the bat, I can tell Miguel is a great guy. The kind of individual you want to hang out and spend your vacation days with. He basically did his pitch on what sights we can see and how he can help us enjoy our stay better "Seeing the country through the eyes of a local". We exchanged emails and later on that evening, he sent me a customized package based on our earlier conversation. We thought "wow, this guy really listened to what we wanted to do" and so we decided to hire him to be our personal tour guide for the next 5 days of our stay.
